Abstract: The Chinese college students volunteer is the main force of China youth volunteers, according to the characteristics of college student volunteers, analyses the problems existing in the volunteer in colleges and universities, discusses the volunteer organizations in the development of the contemporary social environment and the way to clear volunteer organizations in colleges and universities should shoulder the responsibility of the college volunteers, training education, so as to better serve the society, education, youth, promote growth target, promote youths all round development, better with international standards.

1.Introduction

As opposed to abroad, Chinarsquo;s volunteer service activities with late start and rapid growth, as a career with international standards, while shouldering social services, education, youth, and promote the growth of other aspects of responsibility, since 2008, after Wenchuan earthquake and Beijing Olympics, the volunteersrsquo; outstanding performance, the United Nations Volunteers organization China project Officer said: “2008 will be the first year of voluntary service in China.” Volunteer service marks China has entered a new stage of development, the growing ranks of volunteers . In this context, the university became a concentration camp young volunteers, student volunteers have become the main force of young volunteers, and college volunteer activities, attracted the attention of the community. However, with the continuous development of university volunteer organization construction and the atmosphere of the changing social environment, the original system of volunteer organizations in colleges and universities began to show the inadaptability of the new development, the new situation, cant fully meet the students awareness of volunteer activities and needs, there are a lot of volunteers hope to go abroad, better for volunteer service activities. How to better the selection, training college students volunteer, how to effectively carry out the volunteer activities, volunteer activities and the combination of moral education, take on the social responsibility of colleges and universities should have become the current, need we beg and deep research on the problem, is also the opportunity and challenge we face at present.

1. College Students Volunteer Characteristics Analysis

Volunteers, the United Nations defines it as “not to benefit, money, fame, for the purpose, but to neighbors and even world contribution activists”, refers to in not for any material reward circumstances, can take the initiative to assume social responsibility and dedicated personal time and spirit.

2.1. High Turnover of College Student Volunteers

Every year, when the new term begins, college students volunteer organizations, will usher in a new member, it will also off members of the older generation, this is a normal process of old and new replacement. Studies a new start and the end of the stage, will inevitably cause the high turnover of the college students volunteer, for colleges and universities, just cultivate mature volunteers with the old members graduated from loss, at the same time, facing a new period of volunteer training problems, so in reality, although the many volunteers activities, it is easy to appear the effect of volunteer service, unstable, increased voluntary organizations in colleges and universities set up the long-term mechanism of difficulties.

2.2. College Student Volunteers Have Strong Learning Desire

The groups of College students volunteer, is in a state of mainly studies, the period of the volunteers, to the outside world is full of curiosity, so relative to other social organization of volunteers, they demand more self development and improve, they engage in volunteer activities, tend to help others at the same time, can exercise their own ability, make oneself get comprehensive development, so as to achieve. In favor of others amounts to in favor of oneself. Another aspect, student volunteers, have high quality universal culture, curiosity is stronger, at the University of school days, the formation of the accumulation of their own expertise, volunteers in the same tissues from different professional schools, the different aspects of good will their professional knowledge in volunteer work, you can either apply their knowledge to achieve practical, but also can serve to help to others, thus completing a workout from theory to practice.
